My Story

Last August, we lost our dad at the age of 71. The care and compassion he received at Ty Bryngwyn hospice meant everything to us during such a difficult time, and it’s something we’ll never forget.

To give something back, on father's day 2026, my brother and I are taking on a huge challenge: hiking Pen y Fan 10 times back-to-back. That’s over 40 miles and around 4,500 metres of elevation in a single climb.

It’s going to be tough, both physically and mentally, but it feels like the least we can do to support a place that gave our dad such dignity and comfort in his final days.

Ty Bryngwyn hospice is entirely charity funded, and every donation, no matter how small, makes a real difference.

If you’re able to support us, we’d be incredibly grateful. Thank you.
